Piping Engineering and Design

Our experience includes all ASME/ANSI pressure classes (150# through 2500#), application of ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8 piping codes and a host of industry (API, ASME/ANSI and etc.) specifications and standards. This experience ranges from plant maintenance projects (small and large) to the complete design of grassroots facilities. Efficient piping designs have resulted in significant savings in material and construction costs.

Piping has the overall responsibility of project layout. The logical and efficient organization of equipment can sharply decrease bulk material requirements and thereby the construction time. Other piping responsibilities include location of line instruments, identifying/requesting specialized piping support systems and foundations, and ultimately verifying that all the requirements of the P&ID's have been met.

The engineering aspect of piping involves specialized personnel trained to perform pipe stress analysis, equipment nozzle loadings evaluations and piping specification development. On any project, piping specification development and maintenance is generally required from project inception to start-up.
